Monkey Business!!

The weather in CO has been beautiful! Today- it was much cooler so we decided to do an inside activity! We went to Monkey Business with my friend Maren and her kids EmJ and Luke. EmJ is 5- and not pictured because she told Maren that she "did not come here today for you to take pictures of me". Hehe! :) Love that little stinker! Luke is 21 months and the perfect play date for the twins! :) Here are some pictures of our fun today!!

Grandma built the kids an obstacle course using the mats. They loved crawling on and over everything!!

If you didn't know it...Carson is OBSESSED with clocks!!! Everywhere we go- he searches for clocks. They are the first thing he finds in every room....and to have a clock in the play house today was great!!

Before we left- I took both kids down the BIG slide! It was quite a trip! :)

We had a blast today! Carson fell asleep in the car on the way to lunch- and Majkin fell asleep on the way home. They were so tired! This was the perfect activity for wearing the kids out- which happens to be my goal this summer!!

Front Porch Fun!

Hooray for Summer!!! The kids and I are spending a good chunk of the month of June in Colorado with my family. While we are here I hope to post some pictures of what we're up to for all of our far away (for the moment) family and friends!!

Here are some pictures of our front porch fun so far this month! The porch is the perfect place to play- as it is covered, big, and child proof (thanks to the make shift baby gate my parents created)!!

March of Dimes 2011

We'd like to thank all of our family and friends for their help in the sponsorship of our team "Multiples and Miracles" for the March of Dimes walk today, May 1st, 2011. Our family has been touched by the support that the March of Dimes is able to give families in our area. We were so fortunate to have the MOD right here in our backyard! Thank you to everyone who helped make this year our best yet! :)

The weather wasn't fabulous- but we had a good time with family at the walk!

Dancing babies

Carson and Majkin's new FAVORITE THING- Dancing!! This video shows the babies dancing on the counter to Hootie and the Blow Fish's- Dream Baby. They LOVE the song! I know- I shouldn't let my kids stand on the counters...but seriously...they don't dance like this on the floor! They need a stage! Oh the drama I'm setting my children up for.....

Easter 2011

Happy Easter!

We had a great day! (Well...almost!) The day started out with a trip to Children's Mercy ER with Majkin and a 102.4 fever. Being that she is only 10 days out of major surgery- it was important that we take her to the ER and make sure everything checked out O.K. with her heart. And....all is well! The Xray and Echo looked good and her temp went down with Tylenol. She has cold like symptoms- so we will have to watch her over the next few days. To waste time while we sat in the ER- Majkin danced to Hootie and the Blowfish, and watched The Muppets: Ma-nah-ma-nah, and listened to Elmo's song. She entertained all of the dr's and nurses. She's just fine! :)

While we were gone- Carson and Grandma Viki spent the morning playing with the toys the Easter Bunny left for the kids, and reading stories. We are so lucky to have Grandma Viki here with us while we get back into the swing of things.

When Majkin, Mike and I got home from the hospital, we had a little Easter Egg hunt in the back yard. Carson liked picking up the eggs, putting them in the bucket, and then dumping the bucket out. Majkin was a CHAMP at collecting eggs. She would spot them from across the yard, run to them, and put them in her basket. She picked up all the eggs that Carson dumped out- leaving him with no eggs at all! :)

The kids enjoyed the day- as did Mike, mom and I. We all missed our other family members- but know we will see everyone soon!
